What’s beekeeping? It’s very important job for beekeeper. This is a person who maintains the beehives and collects the bee products or sells the bees to another person. That person usually wears special suit and jacket. His hat and tie-down veils are also very characteristic. Beekeeper uses gloves. What does he do to calm the bees? Beekeeper uses smoke. Fundamentally smoke interferes with the pheromone (smell) communication 'language' that the bees use to raise the 'We're under attack' alarm. So they start preparations to abandon the hive at a moment’s notice. This diverts them whilst the beekeeper takes their home apart.
